29 July event: don’t miss HomeBuy Direct at Granary Wharf

Time is running out for buyers looking to take advantage of the government backed HomeBuy Direct scheme which could see people buying a home with just a 5% deposit at the top-notch Granary Wharf development just south of Leeds city centre.

Prices at Granary Wharf start at £99,950, meaning only a £3,499 deposit is needed and a monthly mortgage payment of just £362.64.

This is a great area in which to live, mingling convenience with city excitement and good deal of peace and quiet as well. The city centre is mere minutes away, and there’s even a classy City Inn Hotel on site with a lovely Sky Lounge offering 360 degree views of the Yorkshire capital.

Residents can also take advantage of the Wasabi Teppan-yaki restaurant and the newly opened Ossett Brewery pub, The Hop, amongst other bars and restaurants.

Just a stroll around the place might convince people to move in with revitalised waterways, newly regenerated public areas, canal side landscapes and a fully restored and working graving dock. Just in case you need one of the latter.

All this amenity can be yours quickly and cheaply.

The HomeBuy Direct scheme allows first-time buyers who earn less than £60,000pa the opportunity to buy a home by offering a 30% equity loan which means they only have to pay 70% of the price through a combination of mortgage and savings - usually borrowing 65% with a 5% deposit.

But remember this is the last chance to buy as reservations must be made by the end of July.

Prices at Granary Wharf start at £99,950, meaning only a £3,499 deposit is needed and a monthly mortgage payment of just £362.64. One bedroom apartments are available from £132,950 and two bedroom apartments start at £179,950.

If you’re interested you can find out more about the scheme at a special HomeBuy Direct sales event taking place on Thursday 29 July from 12pm – 8pm at the Granary Wharf sales office. The sales team will be on hand throughout the day to give tours of the development, the stunning rooftop terraces and the five show apartments.

And If you come down to the event you also have the chance to enter a prize draw to win £1000 worth of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers
