Room Restaurant: pay what you want for main courses

Can you remember when Radiohead launched their last album, In Rainbows, over the internet and told people to pay what they thought it might be worth? Well, Room Restaurant, just off Boar Lane, is doing the same with its main courses.

From Monday to Friday lunchtimes, noon to 3pm, all you have to do is order two courses at a pre-booked table, a starter and a main, pay for the starter and then pay what you want for the main. This offer lasts throughout May and June.

This is a proper bona fide straight up deal. It's up to you to reward the restaurant with exactly what you think the dish and the service is worth - 1p, £4.99, £99, it's your choice. All you have to do is make sure you book ahead.

For those who've never been, Room is easily one of Leeds' finest restaurants providing award-winning food in a lively atmosphere. Main courses include dishes such as fish pie, bubble and squeak (V) , moules marinières, stroganoff, crispy duck, coq au vin and jambalaya.

These delights offer so much more than the simple descriptions hint.
They provide a stimulating, innovative and flavour-filled experience which takes classic retro dishes and updates them for the twenty-first century. Confidential knows you'll love the food.

The usual prices for these varies from £9.50 to £13.75 but that won't matter to you because you'll be the judge of monterary issues.

This is your chance to have a great lunch and also take control in an excellent restaurant, to find out how to book your table simply enter your details below.
