Outside catering can be all too samey with platters of dull-looking sandwiches drying in air-conditioned offices. Out of the Woods coffee bar at Granary Wharf offers a brilliant alternative to the standard beige fare that haunts most meeting room tables.
Catering for breakfast and lunch, they’ve created five imaginative menus ranging from £5.75 per head to £12.75 per head. The formula is healthy and energy-boosting but tasty. The idea is to fill you up and cheer you up, without sending you into a post-lunch coma.
The breakfast menu includes French pastries, a fresh fruit platter, and jugs of freshly made smoothies (£5.75 per head). The cheapest lunch option includes a selection of just-made sandwiches, Yorkshire Crisps, hummus and breadsticks and home-made cupcakes (£7.25 per head).
If you want to really treat your clients, go for the top-of-the-range lunch option – you get sandwiches, pork pie topped with juicy cranberries, a Yorkshire cheeseboard, a fresh fruit platter, i's Pies Wensleydale and red onion quiche, crisps and home-made cupcakes (£12.75 per head).
If the set menus don’t quite suit your needs then the team are happy to work with you to create a bespoke lunch or breakfast.
Clients include Yorkshire Forward, Future Energy Yorkshire and Round Foundry Media Centre. Guy Redwood from the Media Centre said, “We only use Out of the Woods for our catering now, as our customers would be disappointed with anything else.”
