WE'VE got two pairs of County Stand passes to give away for the upcoming music and racing showcase at York Racecourse later this month.
BlondieThe special music showcase evenings, on Friday July 22nd and Saturday July 23rd, is the only evening of York’s year that combines racing with live music.
And we've got a pair of tickets for each night.
Blondie and Scouting for Girls will be adding even more excitement to a day of racing, meaning you’ll get to see top quality action on the track and the live music stage.
On the racing side for Friday, you’ll get to see The European Breeders' Fund Lyric Stakes, a listed contest. After the racing, Blondie will take the stage. Now members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; the iconic band fronted by Debbie Harry will perform hits like Heart of Glass, Sunday Girl and The Tide is High, as well as showcasing work from their latest album.
Scouting For GirlsOn Saturday, the highlight of the race card is the Sky Bet York Stakes on Saturday - a Group Two race with £100,000 in prize money up for grabs. It attracts a stellar field from the top stables. A full field is also likely to contest the prime betting heat of the afternoon, the £50,000 Sky Bet Dash.
After the racing ends, the Brit-nominated Scouting for Girls will perform live, featuring hits like This Ain’t A Love Song. Elvis Isn’t Dead and She’s So Lovely.
The weekend promises to be fantastic and accompanied under-16s can get in free of charge, so you can even make a family weekend of it.
