YORKSHIRE'S dance fans are celebrating after Chase and Status and Wretch 32 joined the Bingley Music Live bill on the weekend of September 2-4.
Two of the hottest acts in Britain join indie heroes Maximo Park, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Feeder and Eliza Doolittle on stage in Myrtle Park for what is shaping up to be best Bingley bill yet.
Having conquered the underground dance scene Saul ‘Chase’ Milton and Will ‘Status’ Kennard have now gained global success and become mainstream household names.
Famed for early singles End Credits and Against All Odds, and their production work on Rihanna's 'Rated R', Messrs Milton and Kennard have returned armed with new album (No More Idols) featuring guest spots from Cee-Lo Green, Clare Maguire, Dizzee Rascal and long time collaborater Plan B.
The hottest producers in the game have now emerged from their studio with an expansive tour including Radio 1’s Big weekend, Glastonbury, Wakestock, Roskilde, Wireless, T in the Park, Oxegen, Benniscassim and V festival, to name a few.
Wretch 25 is the emerging Grime star whose first single, ‘Traktor’, exploded into the UK Singles chart in January debuting at number five and staying in the top 40 for six weeks. His second single, ‘Unorthodox’ - which samples Stone Roses track ‘Fools Gold’ - and features vocals by Example was an even bigger hit reaching number two.
