LEEDS Grand Theatre opens its doors to the public on Sunday with an action packed programme supporting Heritage Open Days across the UK.
As well as the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the spectacular Victorian theatre, the Grand’s resident companies Opera North and Northern Ballet will be providing workshops, performances and a host of other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
There’ll be surprise performances, backstage tours, talks from the professionals, sneak peeks at sets and costume, competitions and quizzes.
The Theatre is open to all from 10.30am until 4pm with last admission at 3.30. Entry is free.

Discover how scenery is brought into The Grand by taking a ride on the lorry lift.
Archives Display
Explore the Grand’s story through photographs, pictures and programmes. On display all day courtesy of West Yorkshire Archives Service; handling workshops at 10.45am and 2.15pm.
Family Fun Craft Activities
Drop in to find out more about the Grand’s unique Victorian design feature and have a go at creating your own stained glass windows or tile patterns.
Grand Fete
