Manchester music venue Band on the Wall will present what could be a reggae highlight of the year next month – at The Wardrobe in Leeds. The Jamaican roots singer Horace Andy will be performing at The Wardrobe on Thursday 7 April. Confidential has a pair of tickets to the show to give away.
Horace Andy has produced some of reggae’s most beautiful vocals on hits including ‘You Are My Angel’, ‘Government Land’ and ‘Skylarking’. Collaborating with Trip-Hop pioneers Massive Attack, he contributed to all five of their albums – most notably on 'Mezzanine' and on their 2010 release ‘Heligoland’.
With his distinctive vocals being heard around the world, Horace continues to be one of reggae’s brightest voices. Accompanied by his long-time band Dub Asante, the Massive Attack vocalist will perform from 9pm. Tickets cost £20 and can be bought here.
