WITH just over two months until Christmas - yes, really -  the Country Living Christmas Fair at Harrogate is the perfect way to ease yourself into the festive spirit.

From goods and gifts, food and frivolities, pampering and party wear, it’s set to be a treasure trove of treats from some of the best and most original British companies

With over 430 craftspeople, independent retailers and small businesses from all over the region, you’ll find a range of Christmas ideas from home accessories and handmade decorations to stunning jewellery. Culinary experts will also be on hand in the food theatre and there will also be advice on how to transform your home with the fair’s interactive workshops.

Kids will be able to get stuck in too, making Christmas cards and wreaths or if they're feeling particularly artistic, trying their hand at making and decorating a gingerbread house.

A spokesperson said: “Yorkshire heritage and craftsmanship plays a huge part in country fashion and style and we’re delighted to be able to bring our Christmas event to Yorkshire for the first time. It’s exciting to extend the shows from London and give something back to Yorkshire, where many of our favourite country brands originate from.

“At the moment there’s a real commitment from shoppers to support local crafts and retailers and this is fantastic. Combined with the re-ignited fashion of being truly individual, and the resurgence of vintage style, many shoppers are looking for more unique gifts this Christmas. We love the idea of people's stockings being filled with unique, individual, handmade gifts, or little surprises that have been great new discoveries of new and emerging brands”.

From goods and gifts, food and frivolities, pampering and party wear, it’s set to be a treasure trove of treats from some of the best and most original British companies. Join in the festivities at the Harrogate International Centre from Thursday 29 November – Sunday 2 December. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £7 for children (children under five-years-old are free). Visit www.countrylivingfair.com/harrogate for more information.

This competition has now closed. Congratulations to our winners: Amy Massey, Vicki Loftus, Andrea Hall, Zoe Spensley-Wood and Christopher Marsland.
