FirstBuy comes to Granary Wharf this week

Always wanted a canal side city centre apartment with views across the city, but thought you couldn’t afford it? Think again.

“This summer has been record-breaking for us; we sold 17 apartments in just four weeks, and we anticipate demand will be higher now that we can offer FirstBuy.”

The government-backed FirstBuy scheme, which helps first-time buyers get on the property ladder with just a five per cent deposit, is now available at ISIS Waterside Regeneration’s award-winning Granary Wharf development in Leeds.

Granary Wharf 033On October 6th potential purchasers are invited to come down to the waterside development to find out more about the scheme and get a taste of life at Granary Wharf.

Between 6pm and 8pm, buyers will be able to get a flavour of the buzzing waterside community as potential buyers can take a peek at three show apartments in its stunning cylindrical Candle House building.

The event will also feature a cookery demonstration by a chef from Granary Wharf’s very own Wasabi Teppanyaki restaurant, who will be serving up a range of authentic Japanese dishes. You can also help yourself to some refreshing cocktails, courtesy of the mixologist from the Sky Lounge at the neighbouring Mint Hotel.

The Granary Wharf sales team and financial advisors will also be on hand to take buyers through the FirstBuy process, which allows first-time buyers with a household income of less than £60,000 per year the chance to purchase a home by offering a 20 per cent equity loan, which means they only need to pay 80 per cent of the price through a combination of mortgage and savings.

Prospective buyers could soon be living in a contemporary waterside studio apartment from just £99,950, requiring a deposit of just £4,998. One bedroom apartments are available from £129,950 and two bedroom apartments start at £178,000.

Hollie Reynolds, senior sales and marketing manager at ISIS: “We are thrilled to be able to offer the FirstBuy scheme at Granary Wharf. It’s a good time to get on the property ladder and this will give buyers the confidence to take that step.

“This summer has been record-breaking for us; we sold 17 apartments in just four weeks, and we anticipate demand will be higher now that we can offer FirstBuy to those who may have been biding their time.

“It’s a growing community here and an ideal location for those looking for somewhere to set up their first home. Come down to the event, find out more about the FirstBuy scheme and take this opportunity to discover life at Granary Wharf.”
